Mike is a Chartered Engineer and has enjoyed a varied career working on architecturally challenging and award-winning projects. Mike began his career at Fairhurst GGA following receipt of the Dean’s Prize for exceptional performance at Warwick University; Here, he took a lead on a range of mixed-use developments for including retail spaces for Sainsburys and 100 unit residential developments.
In 2012, Mike moved to Price and Myers where he developed his expertise and interest in architecturally led projects. As Senior Project Engineer for the Tate Gallery in St Ives, he focused on key coordination and detailing that led to a finals spot at the coveted Sterling Awards. His work on the Welbeck Abbey Gallery in Nottinghamshire (with Hugh Broughton Architects) resulted in further accolades with a RIBA award. Mike has in depth knowledge in complex basement excavation, underpinning and refurbishment projects in central London.
Mike is passionate about adding value to projects by understanding the client’s needs, the Architect’s vision and the construction process.
